Sambo Born is an initiative to give Sambo a proper home in the United States. Clubs are scattered, competition mats are often empty, and many athletes still import knowledge and gear piece‑by‑piece. We want to change that.
Our first objective is simple: make Sambo easier to find, learn, and practice here. We map active gyms, share training plans, translate proven drills, and connect coaches to new students. We run open mats and small competitions so athletes can test themselves without crossing an ocean.
Nothing comes free in Sambo. The style rewards grit, problem‑solving, and pressure work. That mindset drives our slogan—"Earn Everything." Show up, improve, help your training partners do the same. If you do that, you’re part of the team.
